The Green Devils snapped a two-game slide with a shutout victory against Eagle Grove on Friday, June 28.

Brett Bobinet threw a complete-game shutout, allowing only one hit and striking out seven. He also walked three and had a hit at the plate. 

Collin Muller, a sophomore, went 2-for-3 with a pair of runs and a stolen base. 

Lukas Wogen pitched a complete game with one run allowed, and Mitchell Halloran knocked in a pair of runs to lead West Fork past Osage on Wednesday, June 26.

Osage was limited to four hits. Connor Tabbert had the team’s only RBI, and Lucas Weigle walked twice. Tyler Oberfoell took the loss despite pitching six innings with one earned run.

Hampton-Dumont overcame a nine-run deficit Tuesday, June 25, against Osage. The Green Devils led 10-1 after two innings, but the Bulldogs eventually broke an 11-11 tie in the seventh, scoring a whopping eight runs to claim the victory.

Cal Heeren went 3-for-5 with a pair of RBIs. Drew Uhlenhopp had four RBIs. 

The Green Devils’ five-game winning streak came to a close with the loss. Gavin Schaefer went 3-for-5 with four RBIs. 

Osage put up four runs in the third inning en route to a tough 6-2 win over West Hancock on Monday, June 24.

The Green Devils will play at Riceville on Tuesday, July 2. They will play again at hone on Friday, July 5 against North Fayette.
