Tanyon Schutjer gathered four of Saint Ansgar’s 11 hits Tuesday, June 25, as the Saints extended their winning streak to four games with a 10-4 victory against Riceville.

Mallory Juhl pitched seven innings and allowed three earned runs. 

Shutjer had three RBIs, and Hali Anderson had two. Anderson was one of four players with at least two hits.

Madison Mauer was 4-for-4 but Riceville could not get the timely big hit in an 6-3 loss to Colo-NESCO, on Monday, June 24.

Sophomore Josie Gansen was the losing pitcher, as she allowed five unearned runs over 3 1/3 innings.

Riceville traveled to Nashua-Plainfied on Monday, July 1. They play Osage at home on Tuesday, July 2. The Wildcats host Don Bosco on Wednesday, July 3 and Northwood-Kensett on Friday, July 5.
