OSAGE | The Osage Wrestling program had a lot of success this season including adding four varsity wrestlers, Zach Williams, Joe Sullivan, Joey Jacobs and Brody Roll, to the 100 win club.

“It felt pretty good to get it early in the season,” Williams said. “I’m already at about 130 wins after this season, so I am feeling really good about reaching the 150 win milestone. It has really helped to be in the lineup since I was a freshman.”

Joe Sullivan, a junior, had some of the same confidence as his fellow classmate. “I knew I was going to get it as long as I was wrestling at my best ability,” Sullivan said. “I feel on track to the 150 win club, which isn’t easy for many to do, and it really drives me to work hard this offseason to get better and have a really successful senior year.”

Senior Joey Jacobs finished his high school career with 103 overall wins. “With all the days I put in during the off-season, it felt like all that hard work finally started to pay off,” Jacobs said. “Not every wrestler gets the chance to be a part of this great achievement.”

The senior had a few addition words to say - “I’d like to thank everyone who helped me along my journey as a wrestler and to my practice partners for pushing me in practice every day.”
