MITCHELL COUNTY | Mitchell County 4-H invites the residents of Mitchell County to join them in celebrating National 4-H Week, Oct. 7-13.
Each day has a different theme.
Sunday – a scavenger hunt for the community and clubs to complete was released. A limited number of prizes are available in the Extension Office. Come to the office at 315 Main Street in Osage when you’ve finished. The office is open from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday- Friday.
All week 4-H members are asked to hang their 4-H Member sign on their locker or desk. If you didn’t receive one at your last club meeting please stop by the office and grab one.
Monday - We pledge our heads to clearer thinking, what do you want to be when you grow up? Wear your favorite college attire or dress up as a professional.
Tuesday - National 4-H T-shirt Day. Wear your favorite 4-H t-shirt to school or wear green to work.
Wednesday - Our hearts to greater loyalty, invite someone new to your next 4-H meeting. Make a new friend. 4-H alumni celebrate a friend you made because of 4-H.
Thursday - Our hands to larger service, thank your leaders for all that they do. Get together with family, friends or your club and do a small community service project. Need ideas? Call the office 642-732-5574.
