OSAGE | The flow of traffic at Lincoln Elementary as become a concern for administration at Osage’s Lincoln Elementary.
Beginning on Thursday, Nov. 28, bus drivers unloaded students at the southeast corner of Lincoln Elementary (Exit 15) on North Sixth Street to allow parents more efficient access to the south side of Lincoln Elementary.
“The intent is to create a single lane of traffic from east to west to drop-off,” said Lincoln Elementary Principal Greg Adams. “Regardless of which street is used for pick-up or drop-off, curbside is the safest for everyone.”

Osage Superintendent Barb Schwamman, along with Osage Mayor Steve Cooper and Osage Police Chief Brian Wright were on hand the first day of the change.
Schwamman said the flow of traffic went well with the buses on the east side of the building.
“We hope this helps,” Adams said. “The process will continue to be evaluated as more changes may be needed with the opening of the Osage Community Day Care after the first of the year.”
