Over 40 participants from across northern Iowa and one from Tuscon, Arizona enjoyed the bike ride on Saturday, June 22.

If you wanted to learn a bit more about Mitchell County, then Bike Ride Around Mitchell County (BRAM) was for you.

Over 40 participants from across northern Iowa and one from Tuscon, Arizona enjoyed the bike ride on Saturday, June 22.

It included a 11.8-, 24- and 72.5-mile route and a 17.5 mile trail ride. The ride began and ended in Osage.

Bikers traveled through the towns of Mitchell, Osage, McIntire, Riceville, with the opportunity to enjoy the scenery along the Cedar River, Iowa countryside, the Wapsi Great Western Trail. The trail ride was on the Harry Cook Trial and the Greenbelt Trails.

The event was sponsored by Home Trust & Savings Bank, Osage Municipal Utilities, Kountry Kupboard, Rusty's Last Call, Limestone Brewers, Mauser Insurance Company and Life Church.
