Star Lab Program at Library

Chelsea talks about the constellations with some of the children in the Star Lab.

The 2019 Summer Library Program’s theme is “Universe of Stories” and the Osage Public Library is focusing on a space theme.

Over 100 participants of this program were treated to a special event during the week of June 18.

Naturalist Chelsea Rowcliffe, Mitchell County Conservation Board Naturalist and summer intern, Kari Jeffrey, shared information and stories of the constellations and planets by means of the Star Lab program.

Youth entered an igloo-type tent, where they were able to see the stars, planets and constellations with a special projector and computer program.
