The Forest City High School boys golf team has been practicing for its 2019 season with more than seven boys on the team.
Senior Avery Busta said the team needs to work on getting out there and getting more experience so they can “get more comfortable meet-by-meet to the point where we can go for the conference title.”
Busta said he needs to work on being more consistent and more relaxed.
“Making the most of each meet,” he said. “It’s the most important part of the season as a team.”

Busta said he thinks the team will do well this year because they didn’t lose their top four scorers and have experience.
“We’re hoping for more meets this year,” he said. “We only had three last year because of the weather.”
Busta said his goal for the year is to be competitive and get into the state tournament as well as having fun.
“Have fun, enjoy my senior year and classes,” he said. “Make the most of the season.”
