CLEAR LAKE | The Forest City girls team rode some solid performances to a fourth place finish at the Early Bird Relays in Clear Lake on April 3, as Kelsey Koch won the long jump, and the 4x800 meter relay team took home first place. 

Koch scored 10 points for the Indians in the long jump, leaping 15 feet, 8.5 inches. The relay team blew away the field, finishing at 10:49.51, overall 20 seconds ahead of Humboldt, who finished second at 11:09.36.

The girls finished in first place with 157 points on the day, while Humboldt came in second at 152 points.

Tuesday night, the Indians travel to Clarion-Dows for a meet. On Thursday night, they travel to North Iowa. The Indians then travel to Bishop-Garrigan on Friday night.
