FOREST CITY | The Indians made light work of the G-H-V Cardinals on Wednesday, Oct. 17, winning 25-7, 25-17, 25-8.

Kelsey Koch had 12 kills and seven digs. She was also 14-of-14 from the service line with an ace. Emma Hovenga had 23 assists and was 18-of-19 from the service line with four aces.

The Indians won five of their six matches at Algona High School on Saturday, Oct. 13, with their lone loss coming to Sheldon.

Emma Hovenga racked up 21 assists in the victory against Lake Mills. Ellie Caylor and Cora Holland each had 15 digs. 

Scores were Forest City 2, Clear Lake 0 (Match 1); Forest City 2, Lake Mills 1 (Match 2); Sheldon 2, Forest City 1 (Match 3);Forest City 2, Spencer 0 (Match 4); Forest City 2, Algona 1 (Match 5) and Forest City 2, Carroll 0 (Match 6).

The Indians travel to Osage for the Class 3A Region 3 Semifinals on Tuesday.
