The Forest City boys team finished second overall at the Top of Iowa West Division Co-Ed Meet on Thursday, May 2, and had several players finish with impressive performances.

Jordan Spooner finished second in the boys 400 meter dash, with a time of 52.93.

The Indians  finished third in the 4x800 meter relay, with a time of 8:47.10, and second in the 800 sprint medley, and the boys distance medley, with respective times of 1:40.06, and 3:52.67. In the high jump, Forest City athletes Elijiah Weaver and Michael Olson finished second and third, behind North Union's Elliot Hagebock. Hagebock and Weaver each leapt a height of 06-02. Olson had a mark of 5-08.

In the long jump, West Hancock's Josef Smith jumped a distance of 20-01, while Seth Brock and Jordan Spooner were second and third at 19-11.75.

The Indians compete in the district track meet on Thursday, May 9 at Garner-Hayfield-Ventura.
