ALGONA | Four Golden Bears players reached double digits Monday, Dec. 17, as Bishop Garrigan earned a 19-point victory.
The final score was Bishop-Garrigan 67, Forest City 48.
Forest City has lost two straight after beginning the season 6-0.
Noah Miller and Riley Helgeson each scored 10 points in the loss. Three other players (Avery Busta, Micah Lambert and Carter Bruckhoff) combined for 25.
Forest City led Belmond-Klemme by only four points entering the fourth quarter Tuesday, Dec. 18, but the Indians' defense held the Broncos scoreless the rest of the way as Forest City ended its two-game winning streak.
The final score was Forest City 44, Belmond-Klemme 34.
Noah Miller had 10 points, as did Andrew Snyder. Avery Busta had eight points, five rebounds and five assists for the Indians (7-2).
Noah Miller scored 16, and Micah Lambert had 11, as the Indians improved to 8-2 on the season with an 11-point victory against Crestwood on Thursday, Dec. 20.
The final score was Forest City 45, Crestwood 34.
Avery Busta, who had nine points, also had three rebounds, five assists and three steals.
The Indians start the new year on the road at Lake Mills (7-1) on Friday, Jan. 4. They then travel to Clear Lake (8-0) on Saturday, Jan. 5.
