The Forest City boys golf team team scored a big win on April 29, beating Eagle Grove by seven strokes, 185-192. North Iowa finished in third place, at 196.
Forest City's Tyler Clouse was the day's medalist, with a meet-best score of 37 on the nine-hole course. Avery Busta was second for the Indians, with 41, while Elijah Alsop was third, aways back at 52. Nick Halverson of Eagle Grove was the second-place finisher, after golfing a 38.
The Forest City boys team had a great day on May 2, winning their triangle meet by 22 strokes over West Hancock, and watching two of its athletes battle for the day's individual title.
Forest City shot 179 as a team, good for the win. The Eagles finished second, with a team score of 201, while North Iowa was third, at 216.

Forest City's Tyler Clouse and Avery Busta both shot 40's to tie for the win. Clouse ended up scoring the medal, beating Busta on a handicap hole.
Forest City's boys golf team placed third among six teams Saturday, May 4, at Hampton. Charles City won with a 350. Iowa Falls had 351, and Forest City had 370. Tyler Clouse was the medalist with a 78. Avery Busta finished with an 83.
The boys and girls teams were scheduled to compete in the conference golf meet on Monday, May 6 at North Iowa. Results were not available at press time.
