FOREST CITY | Forest City's Avery Busta took home Player of the Year, and coach Dan Rosacker earned Coach of the Year, in the Top of Iowa Conference West Division.
Busta was one of the area's best point guards, leading an 18-5 Forest City team that lost 10 seniors to graduation last year. Busta was third on the team in points with 11.1, but he led the Indians with 145 assists and 74 steals. His assist total was 12th-best in the state and second among North Iowa players.
Along with Busta, sophomore Noah Miller was named to the first team after averaging a team-leading 12.5 points per game. Miller also led the Indians in steals (76), 3-pointers (50) and 3-point percentage (41.7).

Micah Lambert was a second-team selection, and Riley Helgeson was an honorable mention. Lambert had a team-high 164 rebounds and 12 blocks while averaging 12.2 points per game.
Helgeson averaged 8.7 points per contest and shot 57.3 percent from the floor. He was also second on the team in rebounds.
