The Forest City softball team lost to Humboldt, 15-0 on Thursday, June 13, as the Indians fell to 5-11. Humboldt scored 11 runs in the first inning, and then four more in the second.
Forest City claimed a 10-run victory on, Wednesday, June 12, against Nashua-Plainfield.
Kelsey Koch went 3-for-3 with four RBIs and two walks. Keevan Jones had two hits and three runs. Kennedy Klein pitched six innings and struck out five.
The Midgets pounded Forest City on Tuesday, June 11, handing the Indians a 14-7 loss, marking the Indians’ sixth loss in the past seven games.

Despite the Indians 14 hits, they couldn't keep with the Midgets, as starting pitcher Natalie Moore went just 2 1/3 inning, and allowed seven runs, only three of which were earned. She also walked six batters. Kennedy Kelin came on in relief, and went 3 2/3, and allowed seven runs, all unearned.

On Monday night, the Indians traveled to Lake Mills. Wednesday, June 19, they host the West Hancock Eagles. They travel to Clear Lake on Thursday, June 20 and to West Fork on Friday, June 21.
