The Indians scored seven fourth-inning runs Friday, June 28. which wound up being enough for a 9-8 victory.

The Indians have split their past six games, not winning or losing more than one contest consecutively.

North Butler scored 10 runs in the third inning, propelling itself to a run-rule victory against Forest City on Wednesday, June 26.

Kenzie Groen and Kiya Johnson each had three hits. Johnson led the team with three RBIs. Alex Mathers pitched five innings with no runs allowed. She allowed two hits and one walk.

Forest City scored six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning in a 9-5 victory over Eagle Grove on Monday, June 24.

The Indians had six hits as a team, including a triple from senior Kelsey Koch. Ellie Caylor had two hits, and three RBI.

Junior Kennedy Klein got the start, and pitched seven innings, allowing six hits and five runs, with eight strikeouts on the day.

The Indians traveled to Lake Mills on Monday, July 1. They will play at West Fork on Tuesday, July 2. The Indians end the week at home on Friday, July 5 against Bishop-Garrigan.
