FOREST CITY | The second annual "Rylee's Run" in Forest City raised more than $3,500  for the Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia Foundation.

The run is named for Rylee Eastvold, 10, a Forest City boy who has PCD, a rare genetic disorder which affects the function of cilia, the microscopic moving structures that keep mucus from building up in the airways, ears, sinuses and other organs.

Build-ups can lead to blockages and infections causing serious, permanent damage.

Rylee's Run was held in October during PCD Awareness Month.
