The Forest City Housing Committee has chosen three landlords to serve on the city's Ad Hoc Housing Committee.

The purpose of the committee is to discuss and possibly put together a city rental housing inspection program.

By the end of the committee meeting held on June 3, four landlords were chosen to be members as well an alternate in case one of the landlords can’t make a meeting.

The landlords chosen were Teresa Coombs, Megan Jakoubek and Joe Farus, with Bethanee Farus as the alternate.

The three city council members on the housing committee, and therefore on the ad hoc housing committee, are Dan Davis, Karl Wooldridge and Ron Holland.

The landlords were chosen by having citizens present at the meeting who were neither on the council nor landlords draw names out of a box.

The city council approved and appointed the chosen landlords to work with the housing committee on the proposed housing code during its meeting that same night.
