The Forest City Rotary Club held its annual lunch honoring the graduating students who received the Rotary Honor Student awards on Tuesday, April 30 afternoon.
Thirty-one students of the graduating Forest City High School senior class received the award after maintaining at least a 3.25 grade point average.
Kevin Mason, department chair and instructor for Waldorf University’s history department, gave a speech called “Dead Presidents,” in which he told quotes from five famous presidents, such as Teddy Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln, and then interpreted and applied them to the students.
