In February, Mindy Merideth was diagnosed with stage 3, Hodgkin's Lymphoma and has started her chemotherapy treatments.
A cancer benefit is being held from 3-7 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, at the Forest City Civic Auditorium to help raise funds for her medical expenses.
The event will include a silent auction, a "free-will" dinner, baked-goods and a live auction at 4 p.m. with Bob Johnson Auctioneer Services.

Merideth, a native of Leland and 2001 graduate of Forest City High School, lost her mother, Katie Kirschbaum, to breast cancer complications when she was 17.
She is married to Brant Merideth and is a mom to two boys, Drew Brown (19) and Nathan Merideth (12). Merideth is a Senior Branch Office Administrator at Edward Jones, David Stine's office located in Mason City.
