The Summer Library Program, “A Universe of Stories,” is open for children age 3 to teen. The program starts Monday, June 10 and ends Friday, July 12.

The schedule program and activities are

Monday, June 10, Begin Reading;

4 p.m., Tuesday, June 11, Dead Man’s Lake, Riley Lewis;

4 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, Sewing dresses for girls in Uganda, Rachel Eggum Cinader;

4 p.m., Thursday, June 13, Stranger Danger, Forest City Police Department;

4 p.m., Monday, June 13, LEGO building;

4 p.m., Tuesday, June 14, Constellations and space travel, DNR, Lisa Ralls;

4 p.m., Thursday, June 2, Severe weather safety for kids, Emergency Management, Andy Buffington;

4 p.m., Monday, June 24, Story time and craft;

Register at the Library beginning Wednesday, June 5, and any day after. Each registrant will receive a folder with a reading challenge chart and activities. Those who complete challenges and attend programs will receive a scratch ticket to win a small prize. All tickets will be entered into the final drawing on July 12. The final day Friday, July 12, the library will have pizza, a movie, and the drawing at 3:00 p.m. in the library.

All programs offered will be at the library except the last program which will be held at First Baptist Church. As with any program, they may be subject to change.
