The West Hancock softball team had its best day of the season on Tuesday, July 2, as the Eagles swept a double-header against Garner-Hayfield-Ventura, matching their season win total with the two victories.
The Eagles won game one, 6-3, and game two by a score of 14-11.
The Eagles managed nine hits in the first game to support pitcher Maddie Eisenmann, who went seven innings and allowed seven hits and three unearned runs.

In the second game, West Hancock scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth to take the lead over the Cardinals.
The Eagles started postseason action on Monday, July 8, against Rockford at Rockford. Results were not available at press time.
