The Eagles ended a 12-game losing streak and walked off against West Bend-Mallard on Thursday, June 20, in a 6-5 victory.

All nine of the Eagles’ players earned at least one hit, and four had two.

Madison Eisenman earned the win in the circle after 1 2/3 innings of relief. She allowed only one baserunner and struck out two.

Eisenman was one of four West Hancock players to hit a double in the game.

Riley Hiscocks was 2-for-4 with the game-winning RBI single.

Forest City led 4-0 after two innings Wednesday, June 19, but it scored four more runs in the sixth inning, giving itself some cushion when West Hancock rattled off a three-run seventh.

The loss marked the Eagles’ 12th in a row.

West Hancock got two hits each from Kamryn Eckels and Kennedy Kelly. Ann Horstman hit a three-run homer, as well.

The Indians improved to 6-12 with the victory.

The Eagles hosted the Green Devils on Monday, June 24. They will host Central Springs on Wednesday, June 26. On Thursday, June 27, they travel to Emmetsburg. The Eagles finish the week on Friday, June 28, when they travel to St. Ansgar.
