BRITT | West Hancock's Rachel Leerar scored a game-high 24 points Tuesday, Jan. 8, as the Eagles cruised past Lake Mills to remain undefeated.
The final score was West Hancock 61, Lake Mills 25.
Leerar also had eight rebounds, two assists and four steals.
Madison Eisenman had 13 points, four rebounds, two assists and four steals. Amanda Chizek had six points, 10 rebounds, one assist, three steals and two blocks.
Taylor Ingledue, a sophomore, led Lake Mills with six points. Audrew Casperson and Jessa Gasteiger had five apiece. Casperson added eight points, a steal and a block.
West Hancock didn't score in the fourth quarter, yet they still won by 53 points on Friday, Jan. 11.
The final score was West Hancock 76, Eagle Grove 23.
A dominant first quarter set the tone, as West Hancock outscored the Eagles 34-6.
The victory gives West Hancock 14 consecutive wins to begin the season.
Rachel Leerar shot eight-of-14 from the field en route to a 21-point performance. She also added five assists and eight steals.
Riley Hiscocks had 20 points, and Amanda Chizek had 17 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals and four blocks. Chizek shot eight-of-nine from the floor, as well.
Madison Eisenman also pitched in a solid performance, shooting four-of-five and scoring 12 points.
West Hancock (14-0) hosts Garner-Hayfield-Ventura (6-7) on Tuesday, Jan. 15. The Eagles then travel to North Union (9-3) on Friday, Jan. 18.
