BRITT | The West Hancock High School Girls Basketball team doesn't have any seniors, but is returning a lot of talent from a squad that made it all the way to the regional final last season.
The starting five have played together for a long time and that helps, said Riley Hiscocks.
"We move the ball down the court well," said another starter, Rachel Leerar.
"We play good defense," said starter Amanda Chizek.
Mahayla Faust, another starter, said the Eagles have younger players who can "play with us if we need them to."
Their goals are is to win the conference title and earn a berth in the state tournament.
To get there the Eagles need to improve on their communication and make their layups, according to Hiscocks.
Faust said she needs to work on her free throws.
Starter Maddie Eisenman said she wants the Eagles to be "a team that plays together, not a one-person team."
