North Union’s five-run fourth inning was too much to overcome, as the Eagles dropped their seventh consecutive game Friday, June 7, by a score of 9-4.

West Hancock scored two runs in the sixth and another in the seventh to shrink the gap.

The West Hancock softball team allowed 11 runs in the third inning of their Wednesday, June 5 game, and ended up losing the contest 15-0. 

The loss was the Eagle's sixth straight, and was the fourth time in the past five games that West Hancock allowed at least 13 runs. 

The West Hancock softball team got blown out by Nashua-Plainfield on Tuesday, June 4, as the Huskies beat the Eagles 16-5.

West Hancock managed only four hits in the game, but did walk seven times. Eighth-grader Kamryn Eckels had two of the Eagles hits. 

Freshman Kennedy Kelly pitched five innings for West Hancock, and struggled, allowing 12 hits, 16 runs, 12 of them earned, and five walks. 

The Eagles lost to Eagle Grove 9-5 on Monday, June 3, dropping their record to 1-7. Maddie Eisenman pitched seven innings, and allowed seven earned runs, striking out three batters.

The Eagles will play at Northwood-Kensett on Wednesday, followed by a game at Newman Catholic on Friday. The hosted Bishop-Garrigan on Monday, June 10.
