West Hancock ran into the buzzsaw that is the Newman Catholic offense on Friday, June 14, losing to the Knights, 14-3.

The Eagles allowed Evan Paulus to homer, double, and drive in five runs. The loss was West Hancock's third straight defeat. 

Caden Schrafe and Isaac Renteria each had three hits for the Eagles during Wednesday, June 12, 10-run, 11-1 victory against West Hancock. The Vikings scored eight runs in the first inning. Trey Waldemar earned the win on the mound, pitching five innings and allowing only one earned run, which came in the first inning. He struck out seven.

The loss marked West Hancock’s third in a row.

The Bishop Garrigan baseball team beat West Hancock badly on Monday, June 10, thanks to nine hits, and nine walks.

The Golden Bears took a an early one-run lead, and kept adding to it late in the game. Bishop Garrigan scored three runs in the third inning, and four runs in both the fifth and seventh innings. The Golden Bears also stole seven bases. 

On the mound, senior Brad Capesius got the win, pitching five innings, and allowing only three hits. He also struck out nine Eagles' hitters. 

This week, the Eagles took on Garner-Hayfield-Ventura on Monday, June 17, at home. On Wednesday, June 19, the Eagles travel to Forest City. They host West Bend Mallard on Thursday, June 20 and end the week at home on Friday, June 21 against Belmond-Klemme.
