Junior pitcher Mark Williams hurled five innings of scoreless baseball on Friday, June 28, allowing three hits during the Saints’ blowout 10-0 victory of West Hancock. 

The Saints broke out early, scoring eight runs in the first inning.

The Central Springs Panthers needed only five innings to defeat the Eagles 16-4 on Wednesday, June 26.

A trio of players had three hits for Central Springs, including Josh Stepleton, who had three RBIs. The Panthers scored eight runs in the second and four in the fifth to seal the victory.

The Eagles managed just two hits. Starting pitcher Brayden Leerar went four innings, and allowed nine hits. Of the 15 runs he allowed, only two of them were earned.

Osage put up four runs in the third inning en route to a tough 6-2 win over West Hancock on Monday, June 24.

The Eagles did manage to get nine hits, but couldn't translate them to runs against Osage starter Gavin Schaefer. 

Senior Gavin Becker was the losing pitcher. He pitched six innings, allowed four hits, and five runs, just three of them earned.

West Hancock will play at Garner-Hayfield-Ventura on Tuesday, July 2.
