During National Volunteer Week, the American Cancer Society and the Hancock County Relay For Life want to thank each and every one of the many volunteers (over 3 million country wide) for helping to make a difference for people facing cancer. Together, we are saving lives by helping people stay well, helping people facing cancer get well, investing in research to find cures, and fighting back through legislation. For 15 years, volunteers in Hancock County have consistently raised monies for cancer research and services for those facing cancer; in the last 6 years, Relay For Life in Hancock County has been in the top 10 per capita communities of its size. This can only be possible through the diligence and determination of Relay For Life teams and corporate sponsors. THANK YOU, everyone for all that you do!
