BRITT | The West Hancock High School fall play, "Grimm M.D.: Fairy Tale Doctor," will be presented Nov. 3-4.
The play is about world-renowned fairy tale diagnostician Dr. Grimm seeing a variety of patients, including twins with type 2 diabetes, a boy the size of a thumb who needs massive doses of growth hormone, a gnome with an identity crisis, a princess with insomnia, and a wolf who needs a grannyectomy.
His main case is a very pale girl who fell into a coma after eating a toxic candied apple.
This play is similar to the TV show "House, M.D." starring Hugh Laurie.
Cast memberes are Paige Kudej (Snow White), Alexandria Bruns (Witch), Jade Oberhelman (Dr. Muffet), Sydney Myers (Dr. Bo Peep), Nicole Lemmon (A Real Princess), Autumn Hildebrand (Mom Thumb), Gabby Bell (Gretel), Aileen Lechuga (Little Red Riding Hood), Chance Eden (Wolf), Dalton Subject (Dr. Grimm), Bryer Subject (Glad/Jolly/Sunny), Nathan Cabrera (Geppetto/Ginberbread Man), Ty Piper (Rumpelstilsken/Emperor), and Blake Baker (Hansel).
Alexis Reinking is the stage manager.
The play will be held in the West Hancock High School gym.
The doors open at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 3, with the show beginning at 7 p.m. The doors open at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 4, with the show starting at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. They can be purchased at the door before the show.
