The local Iowa DNR staff presenting a program on trapping to the youth attending the Pheasants Forever Youth Field Day.

Winnebago/Hancock Pheasants Forever held its annual Outdoor Youth Day on Saturday, June 8, at Walking Eagle Marsh

Activities included pointing dog hunt simulation, hunting demonstrations - turkey, waterfowl and deer, trapping demonstrations - furs and traps, shooting (12-15 year olds only) - shotgun, clay pigeons, shell reloading, .22 targets and BB guns, archery (all ages) - regular and 3D targets, outdoor stations - seed balls, duck identification, fishing pole casting, knot tying and much more.

New attendees received a free Pheasants Forever ringneck youth membership. 

Pheasants Forever covered all costs for this event through proceeds from the Pheasants Forever golf tournament and donations from supporters.
