Realtor members of the Greater Mason City Board of Realtors were awarded a $5,000 grant through the Realtor Foundation of Iowa to be given to the North Iowa Youth Center to purchase technology equipment and other educational items for its after-school program. NIYC purchased an AWE Early Literacy computer system for ages 5-12 offering 70-plus programs for youth to enhance their education through spelling, math, reading, history and more.

The youth center also will offer tutoring starting this fall to help youth stay focused for school.

Clear Lake Bank & Trust has added several employees.

Riana Radechel has joined CLB&T as a deposit operations specialist. She is a native of Clarion and attended North Iowa Area Community College and the University of Northern Iowa. She resides in Clear Lake with her fiancé.

Mackenzee Quarnstrom has joined CLB&T as a customer service representative. Originally from Cedar Falls, she is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and brings more than seven years of financial services experience to her new role. She and her finance, Ben Ebeling, live in Mason City.

A native of Mason City and a graduate of North Iowa Area Community College, Jake Stricker has also joined the bank as a customer service representative. He and his wife, Kerry, and children Ariana and Jack have relocated from Florida to Mason City. Jake brings more than 10 years of banking experience to his new position.

Winnebago Industries Inc. has announced the appointment of Brian Hazelton to the position of vice president & general manager — motorhome business effective Aug. 29.

He will report directly to Michael Happe, president and CEO.

Hazelton will have responsibility for leading Winnebago’s core motorized recreational vehicle division, which includes a full line of well-known gas and diesel products sold predominantly in North America.

Hazelton previously was chief executive officer of Schwing America Inc., a leading manufacturer of specialty concrete-related construction equipment. Prior to his time with Schwing, Hazelton worked for Terex Corp. and Detroit Diesel Corp. in various vice president roles, many of which were customer-facing areas such as sales, marketing, service and dealer development.

Hazelton is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with an undergraduate degree in business/finance.

Country Meadow Place Assisted Living and Memory Care Community has named Mary Buren as community relations coordinator. She lives in Joice with her high school sweetheart, Brian. They have two children, Bryce, 10, and Brayden, 6.
