NORA SPRINGS — The Floyd County Emergency Management Agency in conjunction with TransCaer and the Nora Springs Fire Department along with the Cartersville Elevator Company will hold an ethanol transportation training workshop on May 22 and 23 in Nora Springs.

No special personal protective equipment is needed except for hard-soled/closed-toed shoes.

The training is for emergency responders, public works officials, elected officials, ethanol plant employees, railroad company employees and hazmat teams.

All costs are covered by TransCaer sponsors which include Association of American Railroads, American Chemistry Council, Renewable Fuels Association, The Chlorine Institute, ChemTrec and The Fertilizer Institute.
