The West Hancock wrestling team turned in a sixth-place finish Saturday at the Doug Trees Invitational hosted by North Butler-Clarksville.
The Eagles finished with two runner-up performances and two third-place finishers.
Senior Hunter Hagen was handed his first loss of the season in the 195-pound championship when he dropped a 4-1 decision to Lake Mills' Gabe Irons. Dalton Subject also brought home second place at 138 after getting pinned by Lake Mills' Kyle Beery in 34 seconds in the title match.
Tate Hagen won his third-place match to finish third in the 160-pound bracket, and Cole Kelly was third at 170.
Additionally, Justin Ausborn was fourth at 152 and Caleb Eckels was fourth at 182.
On Thursday, the Eagles traveled to North Union for a quadrangular which saw them finish 2-1. West Hancock beat North Union (57-18) and Northwood-Kensett (36-27) and fell to Central Springs (48-25).
Dalton Subject, Tate Hagen and Hunter Hagen all finished the night 3-0 for the Eagles.
