For the second straight week, West Hancock lit up the scoreboard.

The Eagles put out 56 points in a 56-14 victory over West Fork to help them even their record at 2-2 and improve to 2-0 in district play.

West Fork scored the first touchdown, and then West Hancock went on a tear to finish the first half with a 50-8 lead. The Eagles had 29 carries for 371 yards and seven touchdowns in the first half alone.

With a running clock the entire second half, West Hancock was able to put it into cruise control to go on for the 42-point victory.

Up next for the Eagles is a key match-up with Grundy Center at home this coming Friday. Both teams are 2-0 in district play.
