BRITT | Four West Hancock High School students have qualified for the State Individual Speech contest to be held March 10 at Starmont High School.
The students received Division I ratings at the District Individual Speech Contest Feb. 24 in Clear Lake to advance to state.
West Hancock students who participated in the district contest and the ratings they received are:
• Liliana Hill, Literary Program (I) and Storytelling (I).
• Katey Tegtmeyer, Public Address (II).
• Chance Eden, Prose (I).
• Grace Rosin, Expository Address (I).
• Emmaly Fields, Prose (I) and Storytelling (II).
