BRITT | It’s homecoming week at West Hancock. Coronation of the homecoming court is set for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21. A community pep rally will follow.
Queen candidates are seniors Sydney Burgardt, daughter of Rick and Laurie Burgardt; Ryann Hagen, daughter of Travis and Jami Hagen; Sydney Hudspeth, daughter of Tina and Kerry Hudspeth; Kelly Leerar, daughter of Jon and Marlene Leerar; and Brigid Smith, daughter of Michael and Brenda Smith.
The King candidates are seniors Zach Clark, son of Melinda and Chris Clark; Chase Eisenman, son of Kevin and Michelle Eisenman; Hunter Hagen, son of Cindy and Vance Hagen; Kolby Goepel, parents Stacey and Ari Goepel; MaCoy Yeakel, son of Darla and Randy Yeakel.
Freshmen attendants are Ramzee Brown, whose parents are Kevin and Jessi Brown, and Ben Martinez, whose parents are Victor and Judy Martinez.
Sophomore attendants are foreign exchange student Anja Schneider, whose host parents are William and Jennifer Rosin, and Josef Smith, whose parents are Michael and Brenda Smith.
Juniors attendants are Gabby Bell, whose parents are Rock Bell and Ron and Lori Finch, and Lucas Weiland, whose parents are John and Cathy Weiland.
A homecoming parade will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22, at the football field.
The Eagles will take on Grundy Center at 7 p.m. on Sept. 22. The homecoming dance will be held after the game at the high school.
