GARNER | The Bulldogs picked up a 25-11, 25-12, 25-8 sweep of the Cardinals Tuesday night.

Lake Mills's Mallory Wilhelm was 12 of 12 serving. She also had 6 kills and 3 digs. Laura Knudtson was 15 of 16 serving was 5 aces. Knudtson also had 2 digs.

As a team the Bulldogs recorded 31 kills.

"We played well throughout the night, other than a slow start to set two," noted coach Jim Boehmer. "We served aggressive and were attacking balls to score. I am certainly pleased to see us have all 5 girls providing some offense."

GHV's Bailee Frayne had 9 assists and was 5 of 5 serving. Bretta Carolus was 7 of 8 serving with 2 aces. Taylor Gerdes had 4 kills and Jacki Van Oort followed with 3 kills.

FOREST CITY | The Indians picked up a 25-9, 25-2, 25-20 sweep of the Eagles on Tuesday.

Hannah Anderson had 10 kills and was 30 of 31 serving with 13 aces. Brea Dillavou finished with 23 assists, 5 digs and 4 kills.

BUFFALO CENTER | The Lady Bison beat visiing Belmond-Klemme 25-16, 25-12, 25-17 Tuesday.

North Iowa's Mackenzoe Bengston knocked down 10 kills and was 14 of 14 serving with 3 aces. Hannah Main had 9 digs. Rachel Schutter was 18 of 19 serving with 4 digs.

Central Springs 3, Rockford 0

ROCKFORD | The visiting Panthers beat Rockford 25-12, 25-16, 25-17 Tuesday night.

Central Springs' Kaylee Parks had 30 assists, Morgan Kelley had 23 digs, and Hannah Ausenhus had 10 kills.

Osage 3, Nashua-Plainfield 0

NASHUA | Osage picked up a 25-13, 25-8, 25-8 sweep of Nashua-Plainfield Tuesday night.

Kelsey Havel knocked down 4 kills, had 11 digs, and was 16 of 16 serving with 3 aces. Rylie Olson was 26 of 26 serving with 2 aces. Kourtney Chambers recorded 15 digs.

Northwood-Kensett 3, Newman Catholic 1

NORTHWOOD | N-K defended home court in a 25-17, 23-25, 25-19, 25-18 win over the Knights on Tuesday.

Sarah Pederson was 22 of 22 serving with 16 assists. Dusti Bratrud had 10 kills and 18 assists.

CROSS COUNTRY

Algona runs at Storm Lake

STORM LAKE | The Algona girls cross country team ran to a fifth place finish Tueaday. The boys' squad finished 7th. LeMars won the girls and boys team competitions.

Hailey Schmidt led the Algona girls with 15th-place run of 21:56.76. Algona's Zach Ortloff ran an 18:26.51, good enough for 16th place in the boys race.
