LINCOLN, Neb. | The Mohawk Hockey Club saw its five-game winning streak snapped with a 7-1 loss to Lincoln in Midwest High School Hockey League action on Saturday.

Lincoln jumped out to a 3-0 lead before Ethan McHenry scored on a power play 7 minutes, 52 seconds into the second period. Skylar Watt assisted on the goal for the Mohawks.

Kean Kantor and Colten Cole each had two goals for the Jr. Stars, who fired 35 shots at Mohawk goaltenders Parker Dondlinger and Derek Walker. Dondlinger finished with 24 saves while Walker had four saves.
