Waterloo 6, Mohawk Hockey Club 3

MASON CITY | It was a great start Saturday night for the Mohawk Hockey Club. It wasn't a great finish.

The Mohawks held a 3-1 lead in the second period against Waterloo only to see that lead turn into 6-3 loss.

Zach Jimenez, Jacob Lang and Grant Lewerke each scored for the Mohawks.

Kyle Schott had a power play for Waterloo. 

Andy Hitchcock made 24 saves for the Mohawks (5-7-0-1).


North Iowa 7, Wisconsin 3

OREGON, Wis. | North Iowa scored six straight goals at one point, turning a 2-1 second-period deficit into an easy win Saturday night.

Lucas McKinnon, Logan Miller, Tim Kuivinen, Mitch Dolter, Marshall Barnes, Josh Arnold and Caylen Dyni each scored for the Bulls.

RJ Pluhar made 43 stops for North Iowa in net. North Iowa out-shot Wisconsin 61-46.
