AFTON, Mo. — St. Louis handed the North Iowa Bulls their first loss of the season Friday night with a 5-4 overtime victory.
The Bulls’ Cameron Fagerlee scored with 4:15 to play in the third period to force overtime.
In the 3-on-3 overtime period, St. Louis finally broke through with 55 seconds remaining when Mark Capkovic light the lamp to send the Jr. Blues to the victory.
Brendan Studioso scored twice for the Bulls while Fagerlee and Mitch Dolter added one apiece.
Colin Cain stopped 26 of the 31 shot he faced in goal for North Iowa.
