MASON CITY | North Iowa stayed perfect on home ice with a 6-1 win over New Ulm Friday at the North Iowa Events Center.

The Bulls skated to a 1-0 lead after the first period, then blew the game open with a 3-0 run through the second, getting goals from Cameron Fagerlee, Bryceton Butkiewicz and David Dolter. The goals from Fagerlee and Dolter each came on the power play.

North Iowa's Colin Cain stopped 18 of the 19 shots he faced between the pipes.

The Bulls and Steel meet again Saturday in New Ulm. Puck drops at 7:10 p.m.
