ROCHESTER — North Iowa wrapped up its playoff series vs. Rochester Saturday with an 8-0 victory to win the series 2-0.

Goalie Drew Scites recorded his first shutout with with Bulls in the win. Scites stopped all 14 shots he faced.

Marshall Barnes, Connor Clemons and Tyler Bump all scored in the first period to give the Bulls a 3-0 lead after 1.

Mitch Dolter added a pair of goals in the second period and Owen Larson chipped in one himself to send the Bulls to third third with a more-than-comfortable 6-0 lead.

Braxton Collins and Horka Sekesi wrapped up the win with a goal apiece in the third period.

North Iowa awaits the results of Sunday's Wisconsin-La Crosse game to know who it will face in the second round. The Bulls host Game 1 on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
