MASON CITY — North Iowa scored three unanswered goals Friday to break a 2-2 tie on the way to a 5-2 victory over St. Louis.

Shane Bernhardson put the Bulls up 1-0 with a goal in the first period before St. Louis tied the game 1-1 heading into the first intermission.

Owen Larson netted a goal for the Bulls to start the second, and again, St. Louis had the answer. But thanks to a goal by Josh Arnold with four seconds left in the second, the Bulls took a 3-2 lead after 2.

Tom Reiley and Tyler Bump added a goal apiece in the third to secure the win.

Drew Scites had 25 saves for the Bulls.
