Whether it was a breakaway down the middle, or crashing to the floor to knock in the shot, Cameron Fagerlee was all over it.
The Bulls defeated the Wausau RiverWolves 13-0 Saturday night, with Fagerlee claiming hat-trick status at the beginning of the second period. He would finish with three goals on the night.
It took a while to get started, but once Shane Bernhardson scored with 6:05 left in the first period, the rest of the goals poured on.
Connor Clemons played his role well, knowing who to target for three assists in the first period, adding to his five total assists.
Tucker Kruse slapped a third goal and Fagerlee would top off the first to make it 4-0.
The second period saw action quick as Fagerlee capped off his hat trick within the first two minutes. Tyler Bump followed up with a power-play goal. Then Isaac Baron would battle with the goalie, slapping one up the center of his leg-pads and grabbing its ricochet for the goal, 7-0.
Jett Larson racked his in for a 8-0 score and Jarod Blackowiak would feed Josh Arnold a chip shot up the middle to end the period 9-0.
It only took the first 11 seconds of the third period for Mitch Dolter to tally up the 10th score for the Bulls, slapping a deep right-corner shot to the top-left corner of the net.
Kruse would be the first besides Fagerlee to knock more than one goal on the night, taking his second to make it 11-0. Dan Sandvig scored the next and Clemons would finally get his own shot from the sharp right corner to close the game 13-0.
Colin Cain stopped all 21 shots he faced in goal for the Bulls.
The Bulls host the Metro Jets for a two-game series next Friday and Saturday.
