Bishop Garrigan 35, South O'Brien 0

PAULLINA | Bishop Garrigan kept its perfect record intact with a 35-0 win over South O'Brien Friday.

Drew Bacha rushed for 77 yards and 3 TD's in Friday's victory. The Golden Bears also got TDs from Sam Vaske and T.J. Schnurr.

The Bishop Garrigan defense held South O'Brien to 115 yards of offense. Zack Muller finished with an interceptiona and Cade Winkel recovered a fumble.

The Golden Bears (No. 5, A) moved to 6-0.

Northwood-Kensett 60, AGWSR 22

NORTHWOOD | The Vikings sealed the victory Friday with a 45-14 run through the second and third quarters.

Colton Moretz rushed 19 times for 131 yards and two TDs. Kole Parks was 4 of 4 passing for 90 yards and a TD and also had a 41-yard TD run.

Osage 13, Forest City 7

FOREST CITY | Osage's Zach Williams broke a 7-all tie with a go ahead 1-yard TD dive in the second quarter. Williams finished the game with 78 yards and a TD on 18 carries.

Forest City's Luke Johnson was 12 of 19 passing for 137 yards and a TD.

GHV 45, CDG/CAL 8

CLARION | Nick Joynt had 227 yards from scrimmage and four touchdowns to lead Garner-Hayfield-Ventura to an important Class 2A, District 2 win on Friday.

Joynt carried the ball nine times for 174 yards and three scores and added three receptions for 53 yards and a fourth touchdown.

Jace Pringnitz added 98 rushing yards and two more touchdowns for the Cardinals.

The Cardinal defense also turned in a solid performance as they limited the Cowboys to just 161 total yards while GHV amassed nearly 500.

“I feel like we played well in all phases,” GHV coach Scott Van Dusseldorp said. “We finally put it all together.”

The Cardinals (4-2, 3-1) return home on Friday for another important district matchup when they play host to Crestwood.
