If I'm not mistaken, these words appear on the Statue of Liberty:
"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free. The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest lost - to me."
Maybe someone needs to remind our president of what these words have meant to us, as a nation, for hundreds of years.
