I hope this person reads the paper, because I’d like to thank him for being so kind and helping me.
About two weeks ago, I was at the emergency room in Mason City, because I had gotten quite sick.
There was a long wait, so I decided to take a taxi and go home and lay down. I didn’t think I could stay there that long.
I started to go out the door and this gentleman I didn't know came up behind me and said, “Let me help you.”
He opened the door and said, “Let me help you get in the taxi.”
He helped me in, hurried up and handed the taxi driver the money.
I didn’t expect him to do that. He was so kind.
He shut the door and told the driver, “Just get her home safely.”
We certainly have a lot of nice, caring people in this world.
