This year, The Community Kitchen of North Iowa, Inc., is celebrating 35 years of service to our communities. For three-and-a-half decades, we have worked diligently to feed those who are hungry in our area.
We have had a tremendous amount of support to arrive at this milestone. Churches, service clubs, philanthropic organizations, businesses, schools, youth groups, and many others have joined in a sustained effort to insure our success. One of our strongest supporters has consistently been the United Way of North Iowa. They know our mission well, and they believe in its continuance.
United Way provides many forms of support to numerous agencies in our region. They impact people who are poor, disabled, distressed, or dismayed with life. The Community Kitchen is proud to be a long-time member of their caring agencies who serve the people we all would if we had the ability to heal so many problems.
Yes, the United Way helps many agencies and organizations help those we would if we just had the time and resources. United Way deserves your support during its 2017 Campaign so it can be your surrogate and improve lives in North Iowa. When asked, please be as generous as you can be. Your contribution works in many ways to do so many good things. Thank you.
