Beyond his resume of experience as a city councilman for 12 years, beyond his service to our nation in the Navy for 10 years, and beyond 17 years of teaching communication with the Northern Trails Area Education Agency, John Jaszewski’s character is authentic, professional, and progressive. While his resume positions him well to serve the needs of our city on the city council, John’s strengths come from constructing creative solutions to issues and executing them with a positive attitude.
In his candidacy for Ward 4, John plans to accomplish fiduciary responsibility to the citizens of Mason City through funding priorities, and to see the River City Renaissance through, which he has been a strong supporter of. His previous experience assisting with the hiring of three of the past four city administrators will help Mason City find the best person for the current open position. As a resident of Ward 4 in Mason City, I urge my fellow neighbors to vote for John Jaszewski in the upcoming runoff election on Dec. 5.
I’ve personally gotten to know John through Leadership North Iowa, and through the Mason City Says Yes campaign. John is a hard-working family man, he is open-minded, and straight-forward. His major in mass communication and minor in business lead John to many jobs throughout the years that taught him how to work through controversy with dignity. John understands the value in agreeing and respectfully disagreeing with his colleagues. John can listen to different sides of issues to understand the whole picture, and implement informed decisions. Ward 4, please cast your vote for Mr. Jaszewski.
